Prof. Jorge Groß graduated in biology and biology and chemistry for Science Education at the University of Hanover. He taught at a secondary school in Hanover and completed his master’s degree in communication in Kassel. Since 2012 he has been a professor for Science Education at the Otto-Friedrich-Universität of Bamberg. Among other things, he is a laureate of the Ars Legendi-Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science 2017. He published and reviewed research in international peer-reviewed journals and co-authored books about Science Education and schoolbooks. His research focuses on the analysis of students' conceptions and learning processes in Science Education.
